A 3-core and earth cable gives you four cores: three which are colour-coded and inner insulated, and a bare CPC (Circuit Protective Conductor, commonly known as an earth). It's most commonly used to wire two-way light switches, enabling two switches within a building to operate a single light fitting. As a premium flat copper wiring cable with grey coating and rigid flexibility, this cable can be used in dry or damp premises, and is straightforward to install in walls, boards or trays, in channels or behind plaster. Available in 1mm and 1.5mm conductor sizes, it can be purchased in cable lengths of 25m, 50m and 100m.
